When I was a child I use to love learning about things associated with my birthday. For some reason I was fascinated with the fact that the larkspur is the flower for people born in July, or that the ruby is the official birthstone for July. I used to be jealous of those born in April because their birthstone is the diamond. Even as a boy I realized that diamonds were the most precious of stones. As a man, I now realize the actual significance of birthstones, which give people (mainly, men) the opportunity to say "I love you" in the form of jewelry, complete with your mate's birthstone.
So people—men—it's time to grow up and get your lover a nice ring, bracelet, necklace, anklet, or a pair of earrings. What better way to say "I love you" than with a little bit of birthstone bling?
